IdP linking

Learn how to link your unique ID to sign in to the same account with different identity providers (IdPs).
Kyndryl Modern Operations Applications uses a unique ID to identify users. In this way, you can sign in to the same account with different identity providers (IdPs).

Linking IdPs

You can link a provider from a user's account. The user will be able to authenticate with that provider.
  1. Select the member that you want to link the IdP to. The Member Details page opens.
  2. Click
    Add New
     at the top of the page, and select
    Link Identity Provider
    . The Link Identity Provider page opens.
  3. Select the IdP to link from the list of options. Click
    Link
    .
By clicking on the
Link
 button, the user will be redirected to the linked Identity Provider login page to complete the process.
  1. This is an individual process where only the user that is logged in the platform can link their own identity.
  2. As a Platform Administrator, you can unlink the IdP for other users of the account.

Unlinking IdPs

You can unlink a provider from a user's account. The user will no longer be able to authenticate with that provider.
  1. Select the member that you want to unlink the IdP to.
    The Member Details
     page opens.
  2. Select the
    Linked Identity Providers (IdPs)
     tab on the left navigation bar. Under the
    Member Resources
     section, click the
    overflow menu
     next to the IdP that you want to unlink. Click
    Unlink IdP
    .
  3. Confirm the unlinking.
