Default supported currencies

Understand which supported currencies that are part of the out-of-the-box support.
There is a set of default ISO (International Organization for Standardization) currencies that the Kyndryl Modern Operations Applications includes as part of its out-of-the-box support.
Whenever a tenant is created, it is assigned a default set of currencies that it can use when setting up the currency, this means they are configured out of the box. From this list of currencies, the Customer Tenant can select the one that is going to be its default one.
If your desired currency is not included in the set of default Customer Tenant supported currencies, an API is available to add one or more ISO currencies.
Once you have all desired Customer Tenant supported currencies in the list of default Customer Tenant supported currencies, you can select one to be the corporate currency.
If the Customer Tenant needs to add more currencies to the default list, it can be done manually using APIs. For the complete process to add currencies using APIs, see Onboard currencies to instance currencies.
In any case, if the user wants to use a currency as a corporate currency that is not included in the default Customer Tenant supported currency list, that currency has to be added to the default list before the corporate currency is configured.
For more information about the Corporate Currency, see Corporate currency configuration.
