Acquire a basic understanding of the data presented on the Monitoring - Inventory page.
The Monitoring - Inventory page presents statistical data regarding your network inventory. The data presents a basic summary of your physical network devices.
In addition to data visualizations, the page provides a global filter to enable the narrowing of data without complex queries. Parameters include the following:
Customer Name: Devices owned by specific customers.
GSMA Code: Devices associated with a specific GSMA code.
Data Source: Any supported data source used to track network devices and operating systems.
Each parameter allows a boolean Include/Exclude option. Click
Include
to limit the result to include your selection. Click
Exclude
to limit the result to exclude your selection.
Hover over the right upper corner to to present the display options icon (elipsis). The following display options for the visualization are supported:
Settings: Apply a custom time range or other options.
Inspect: Download a report.
Maximize: Enlarge the visualization to see more information. The control toggles to Minimize.
The page presents the following data visualizations:
Inventory Summary
Total Monitored Nodes: The total monitored node count.
Total Monitored Interfaces: The total monitored interface count.
Nodes Type: A donut chart indicating the proportion of node type by percentage. Node types are further grouped into categories such as network switches and servers, by color. A key provides the category color coding.
Nodes by Vendor: A donut chart indicating the proportion of nodes by vendor.
Interface Type: A donut chart indicating the proportion interface types by percentage.
Nodes Datasource: A bar chart indicating the count of devices by datasource such as SNMP and Ping ICMP.
Interfaces Datasource: A bar chart indicating the count of devices by datasource such as SNMP.
Inventory Summary: A tabular summary of devices on the network with identifying details and current status.
