Configure account view permissions in Container Cluster Management to enable data retrieval from Alibaba Cloud.
Container Cluster Management is designed to integrate seamlessly with multiple cloud platforms, including Alibaba Cloud. To enable data retrieval from Alibaba Cloud, specific configuration steps must be completed within the service.
Alibaba Cloud access configuration
:
Access Rights
: The account key must have view permissions. To achieve this, create a user with a new Access Key ID and Access Key Secret, which can be used to configure the account and enable data retrieval from Alibaba Cloud.
Understanding the Role of Access Key ID and Secret
: Alibaba Cloud’s AccessKey ID and AccessKey Secret are unique credentials used to access Alibaba Cloud APIs. The AccessKey ID identifies the user, while the AccessKey Secret is used to sign requests and ensure data integrity. These credentials can be created and managed through the Alibaba Cloud official website.
Steps
:
Open Alibaba Cloud Console
: Navigate to the RAM (Resource Access Management) section.
Go to
Overview
and search for the user.
Navigate to
Users
and initiate the
Create User
process.
Fill in details such as
Log in name
and Display name, then select
OK
.
After creating the account, proceed to add permissions.
Under Permissions, search for
ECS
and select the relevant entity.
Select

Download or copy the key linked to the account.
