Cisco ACI Dashboard

Learn about the different Cisco ACI dashboards available and the information each can offer.
Cisco ACI, or Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure, is a software-defined networking (SDN) solution specifically designed for data centers. It employs a policy-based approach to enhance security, performance, and scalability, meeting the demands of modern applications. This solution enables organizations to manage complex environments more effectively through network automation, which increases operational efficiency. Cisco ACI enables network infrastructure to be defined by policies, simplifying, optimizing, and accelerating the application deployment lifecycle.
Cisco ACI consists of four dashboards that provide a comprehensive view of monitoring data center solutions. These dashboards include oversight of devices such as controllers and nodes (both spine and leaf nodes), as well as the management of logical sections like policies.
To access the Cisco ACI dashboard, navigate to

Cisco ACI Leaf and Spine Health Dashboard

In Cisco ACI, the Spine-Leaf architecture enhances data center connectivity. The "spine" is a key component of this design. With a two-layer, full-mesh topology, the leaf layer connects access switches to servers and users, while the spine layer consists of routing switches at the core. This architecture reduces hop count and minimizes network latency, making it an efficient solution for data centers.
The Spine-Leaf architecture offers several advantages:
  • Improved Redundancy
  • Increased Bandwidth
  • Improved Scalability
  • Lower Costs
  • Low Latency and Congestion Avoidance
  • Energy Efficient
The Cisco ACI Leaf-Spine Health dashboard provides insights into controllers and nodes, including health trends, CPU usage, and memory utilization. To access the dashboard, navigate to
