Learn how to customize your personal dashboard to bring the data you need most into a single view.
Kyndryl introduces the Container Cluster Management User-Defined Dashboard, enabling you to personalize your dashboard experience and quickly view the most relevant data in a single, easy-to-use interface.
Go to the Cluster dropdown menu and select
My Dashboard
. The dashboard opens in a new window.
Creating your own dashboard
A user-defined dashboard lets you create a custom view by selecting your preferred widgets or using a prebuilt template.
To create your dashboard, go to the
My Dashboard
section in Container Cluster Management. The dashboard opens in a new window. To rename it, select the pencil icon next to the name and enter a new name.
After renaming the dashboard, two options appear:
Templates
and
Add widgets
. To create a custom dashboard, select the blank dashboard template and use Add widgets to choose what you want to display. To add widgets, select
Add widgets
and drag dashboard components from the sidebar to the desired location on the dashboard.
Using dashboard templates
Container Cluster Management user-defined dashboard templates make it easy to create a dashboard that displays the data you need.
The dashboard includes templates with predefined views for expenses, assets, savings, and analytical charts and graphs.
The following templates are available:
Blank dashboard.
Container Cluster Management template.
If you are accessing the dashboard for the first time, a Quickstart menu appears with template options. You can also view available templates by selecting Templates on the right side of the dashboard. Select a template and click Select to display the data..
You can add dashboard components or widgets to any template by selecting
Add widgets
. After adding a widget, select
View details
on the right side of the component to review its information.
This option returns you to the original dashboard, where the data is displayed. To close or minimize a widget, select the X or – icons on the right side of the component window.
