Kyndryl Cloud Services is an access point to help customers consume and manage complex, heterogeneous, multi-cloud, hybrid IT estates. Using services available through this portal, you can deploy new services, gain insight into business and finance operations, and understand asset cost efficiency.

The portal offers a vast catalog of other services each of which comes with detailed descriptions that includes benefits, configuration options, and other resources to enable assets and financial operations. It is the access point to critical services for legacy customers and among these, the following services are included:

  • Enterprise Marketplace: A comprehensive Information Technology as a Service (ITaaS) catalog, spanning public and private clouds, traditional IT providers and managed services.
  • Cost & Asset Management: A governance console tool that provides a comprehensive, data-driven view of service providers. This application lets you visualize and analyze costs, gain insights into savings trends, and recommend using different providers' assets.
  • FinOps: The intersection of finance, business, and technology to drive financial accountability and create a cost-conscious culture to maximize return of IT investment.

Kyndryl Cloud Services roles

Cloud services employs Role-Based Access Controls (RBAC) for enabling appropriate access for individuals assigned those roles. Each role grants privileges to individuals, such as view and edit, for specific elements of each service, enabling administrators to tailor access to team members in accordance with organizational needs and policies.

A role defines a set of actions and permissions that a user can perform within a service. You can also enable a subject to perform a specific set of permissions on a resource. The administrator role, includes the privilege of assigning roles to users as they are on-boarded to enable reauired activities for their specific duties.

Kyndryl Cloud Services functions

Each service uder the Cloud Services purview, brings to bear a significant number of control functions critical to manage operations within the assigned arena. For example, Cost & Asset Management supports Cost a cost dashboard that exposes cost trends and forecasts, and an Asset dashboard that enables cost analysis on a per asset basis.
