Introduction to Operational Insights

The Operational Insights of Operations uses algorithms across available data sources to identify critical areas that are required to be addressed.
Actionable Insight, a component of Operations, utilizes algorithms to address intricate infrastructure issues. It presents data observations and offers a single click to the suggested best subsequent step. This feature is developed using Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning principles.
Natural Language Classification, Language Translation, Global Explain-ability, Local Explain-ability, and Discover Entity relationship are the key factors of Operational Insights. An actionable insight is not the same as a dashboard.
Dashboards display data and let users manipulate it to pinpoint specific areas of interest. Operational Insights offer concrete recommendations for opportunities or problems. Typically, Operational Insights come from correlating various types of data from numerous sources.
Each actionable insight essentially provides the following information:
  • Summary
: It displays information records for your account by category of the insight (e.g., incident tickets).
  • Top 10 items
: Displayed as a donut chart. It represents the key areas impacted by this actionable insight.
  • Recommended Actions
: Provides detailed recommendations to address the observation of the actionable insight based on the available standard operation procedure (SOP) and automation playbooks.
  • Analysis of Data
: The analysis is conducted on the given types of data. This detailed examination serves as proof and provides more insight into the data being analyzed.
  • Ticket Information
: This area contains a full compilation of ticket information that can be queried and sorted for more detailed analysis and review.
