Quotations management

View, update, cancel, and sent a quote from the quotations page.
The
Quotations
page presents you with four cards that display the following information:
  • Total: The total of requests received across all statuses.
  • Requested: The total quotation requests made.
  • In Progress: The total of quotations under the following statuses:
    • Quote Generation in Progress
    • Quote Ready to be Sent
    • Pending Cancellation
  • Quote Sent: The total requests under
    Quote Sent
    status.
The Quotations table list displays the following information:
  1. Request ID: Unique identifier associated with the customer's quotation request.
  2. Initiated by: Email address of the person who made the request.
  3. Customer: Name of the customer who made the request.
  4. Service Offerings: Name of the service offering that has been requested.
  5. Package: Name of the service package selected.
  6. Order Date: Date when the request was submitted.
  7. Status: Status of the customer’s quotation request.
  8. Actions: Ability to interact with your quotation request. Select one of the following options depending on the status of your quotation:
Use the pagination actions at the bottom of the page to navigate through all your quotation requests, as well as the filter capabilities to find the quotation of your interest.

Draft
A customer quotation is in draft mode, but not submitted yet
View Request: When selecting the
View Request
, from the quotations table list, a new page displays your customer's request details.
At this point in the flow, there’re no actions to trigger yet.
Requested
A customer quotation request has been submitted and it is ready for your review.
  1. View Request: When selecting the
    View Request
    , from the quotations table list, a new page displays your customer's request details. Alternatively, you can
    Update Status
    to move the quotation to the next stage or
    Cancel Request
    if possible.
  2. Update Status: When selecting the
    Update Status
    option from the quotations table list, you are moving forward with your customer's quotation flow. 
  3. Cancel Request: When selecting the
    Cancel Request
    option from the quotations table list, you can select a reason from the menu (Change of requirements, found better deal, budget constraints, customer dissatisfaction, change in circumstances). Optionally, you can also add a comment that will be shared with your customer. Make sure to click the
    Cancel Request
    button to proceed with this action.
Quote Generation - In Progress
You are working on providing a quotation for your customer.
  1. View Request: When selecting the
    View Request
    , from the quotations table list, a new page displays your customer's request details. Alternatively, you can
    Update Status
    to move the quotation to the next stage or
    Cancel Request
    if possible.
  2. Update Status: When selecting the
    Update Status
    option from the quotations table list, you are moving forward with your customer's subscription flow.
  3. Cancel Request: When selecting the
    Cancel Request
    option from the quotations table list, you can select a reason from the menu (Change of requirements, found better deal, budget constraints, customer dissatisfaction, change in circumstances). Optionally, you can also add a comment that will be shared with your customer. Make sure to click the
    Cancel Request
    button to proceed with this action.
Attach a file with your quotation to send to the customer.
Quote Ready to be Sent
Your quotation is ready to send to your customer.
  1. View Request: When selecting the
    View Request
    , from the quotations table list, a new page displays your customer's request details. Alternatively, you can
    Update Status
    to move the quotation to the next stage or
    Cancel Request
    if possible.
  2. Update Status: This action triggers the next quotation stage. 
  3. Cancel Request: When selecting the
    Cancel Request
    option from the quotations table list, you can select a reason from the menu (Change of requirements, found better deal, budget constraints, customer dissatisfaction, change in circumstances). Optionally, you can also add a comment that will be shared with your customer. Make sure to click the
    Cancel Request
    button to proceed with this action.
Review the attached file before sending your quotation to the customer.
Quote Sent
The customer has received the quote and can review it.
  1. View Request: When selecting the
    View Request
    , from the quotations table list, a new page displays your customer's request details. Alternatively, you can
    Expire
    the request to move the quotation to the next stage or
    Cancel Request
    if possible.
  2. Update Status.
    At this point in the flow, there’re no actions to trigger yet. You must wait for your customer’s reply
  3. Cancel Request: When selecting the
    Cancel Request
    option from the quotations table list, you can select a reason from the menu (Change of requirements, found better deal, budget constraints, customer dissatisfaction, change in circumstances). Optionally, you can also add a comment that will be shared with your customer. Make sure to click the
    Cancel Request
    button to proceed with this action.
Expired
Your quotation has expired and is no longer valid.
View Request: When selecting the
View Request
, from the quotations table list, a new page displays your customer's request details.
At this point in the flow, there’re not more actions to trigger.
Pending Cancellation
Your customer requested to cancel the quotation request (after submitting it or before the quotation was generated) and is sent to you for review.
  1. View Request: When selecting the
    View Request
    , from the quotations table list, a new page displays your customer's request details. Alternatively, you can
    Update Status
    to move the quotation to the next stage or
    Cancel Request
    if possible.
  2. Reactivate Request: Provide a reason why the quotation is being reactivated. This will be shared with your customer.
  3. Cancel Request: When selecting the
    Cancel Request
    option from the quotations table list, you can select a reason from the menu (Change of requirements, found better deal, budget constraints, customer dissatisfaction, change in circumstances). Optionally, you can also add a comment that will be shared with your customer. Make sure to click the
    Cancel Request
    button to proceed with this action.
Canceled
Your quotation has been canceled (before signing the quotation).
View Request: When selecting the
View Request
, from the quotations table list, a new page displays your customer's request details.
At this point in the flow, there’re not more actions to trigger.
