Dependency Track configuration

Learn how to configure DevOps Intelligence for the integration of Dependency Track to broaden the observability of your hybrid IT estate.
Dependency-Track is continually scanning components for known flaws. When a component is added or changed in Dependency-Track, it is analyzed; this occurs during file ingestion and component modifications through REST APIs or the user interface. Every component in the Dependency Track is automatically evaluated daily, regardless of changes.
DevOps Intelligence supports your use of Dependency Track. This topic describes the configuration requirements for this tool. For DevOps Intelligence to pull data from Dependency Track, you must configure a Dependency Track account.
Access rights:
The account should have read access to the projects we intend to sync.
DevOps Intelligence requires the following information.:
  • Name:
    Local account name. It could be any string and is used only for reference.
  • Host:
    Dependency Track Host URL. For example:
    https://dtrack.kyndryl.net
  • ApiKey:
    ApiKey. Can be generated from - Access Management → Create Team → Select Generate APIKey
Credentials should look similar to the image below.

Configuration

The user needs to select the Project that must be tracked through the DevOps Intelligence tool.
When the configuration is successful, we can see the configuration in the table on the configuration page.
