Configure IBM Cloud for Container Cluster Management

Access Rights:
The Account(Key) should have view permission, and the account should have k8s clusters already created. For that, we need to create a new key; it will be used to create and configure an account on
Container Cluster Management
to pull data from
IBM Cloud
.
The IBM Cloud requires the following steps to create the appropriate Secret Key account:
Step 1:
Log in or Sign Up and create an account on and select the
Manage and Access (IAM)
Step 2:
Select the
API keys
and select
Create an IBM Cloud API key
Step 3:
On the Create API key dialog box, enter the key Name and some description about where the key will be used and the purpose of creating the key; select the
Create
button.
Step 4:
Your API Key is created successfully. Please copy & save it in someplace safe.
Step 5:
To create a
Classic Infrastructure API Key
, go to
Manage
->
Access (IAM)
->
API keys
, and select
Classic infrastructure API keys
as shown below.
Step 6:
Click
Create a classic infrastructure key
. The API key is created. Copy or download the API key, and save it in a safe place.
Step 7:
To obtain the IBM Cloud
Classic Infrastructure Username
, click
Manage
->
Access (IAM)
->
Users
.
Step 8:
Select the user from the list. The User details tab of the Manage user page is displayed. The
Classic Infrastructure Username
value, which is a combination of a number_emailID is listed under VPN Password section.
Step 9:
To obtain
Account ID
, go to
Manage
->
Account
->
select
Account Settings
in the navigation menu on the left note down the
ID
. This ID must be entered in the Account Number field in the connections menu described below.
At this point, you have successfully configured IBM Cloud to exchange data with the tenant.
