Partner Integration Initial phase

The initial phase is the entry-level integration tier for early-stage partners. It enables visibility of Partner offerings through the Kyndryl Bridge catalog, without requiring direct application or API integration.
This phase represents the foundational level of integration, designed for early-stage partnerships. At this stage, there is no direct integration with Partner applications or tools. Instead, Partner applications or services are incorporated into Kyndryl Bridge Services and are not directly consumed or exposed as standalone offerings. In this phase, Partners interact with the Kyndryl Bridge Console through indirect integration, facilitated by their inclusion within a Kyndryl Bridge Service.

  • Partner application catalog entry on Bridge:
A tile is created for the Partner application on the Kyndryl Bridge Console.
  • Bridge consultation and quotation support:
Partner services are embedded within Kyndryl Bridge Services, providing indirect access through the platform.
Key advantages
  • Ease of implementation:
Minimal technical integration, making it quick and straightforward for early-stage partnerships.

Consultation
Who’s responsible:
Kyndryl Bridge Partner Integration Team
Once the Partner Services catalog entry is live on Kyndryl Bridge, the Partner Service will be enabled for
Request for Consultation (RFC)
at a minimum level of engagement.
A “consultation” provides existing or prospective customers with a straightforward way to engage with Kyndryl without the need for a pre-established business relationship. Customers can initiate a consultation by selecting
“Schedule a Consultation”
on the service’s detail page.
How it works:
  1. Sign-up or sign-in
Customers are required to sign up or sign in using a business email address.
    • Only email domains that are non-generic (e.g., corporate domains) are accepted.
  2. Submit a request
    Once signed in, users can:
    • Fill out the required consultation request fields.
    • Select their preferred meeting date and time range.
    • Submit the request.
  3. Account management
    • Bridge Personal Account:
Users signing up with a non-generic email domain (e.g., a customer business email) are provided with a Kyndryl Bridge Personal Account, which allows them to submit RFC requests.
    • Bridge Enterprise Account:
Users associated with an Enterprise Account on Kyndryl Bridge can also submit RFC requests.
By enabling this functionality, Partners make it easier for customers to connect with Kyndryl to explore services, discuss requirements, and begin the consultation process in an accessible and user-friendly manner.
Quotations
Who’s responsible:
Kyndryl Bridge Partner Integration Team
Kyndryl’s business model involves offering most services through a custom quoting process, known as
CPQ (Configuration, Price, Quote)
. This process tailors quotes to specific customer configurations while considering Kyndryl’s pricing strategies and competitive market factors. Customers receive these custom quotes and can either accept them or negotiate further with Kyndryl teams for an adjusted price.
How it works:
  1. Initiating a Request for Quotation (RFQ)
    • Logged-in customers or Kyndryl Account Team representatives acting on behalf of customers can browse the Kyndryl Bridge catalog to select a service.
    • By clicking
      “Request a Quote”
on the desired service package, they initiate the RFQ flow.
    • Customers provide details and responses associated with the Service’s Elements and Configurations, enabling them to customize the service to meet their specific requirements.
  2. Access requirements
    • Bridge Enterprise Account holders only:
RFQ capabilities are restricted to authenticated users linked to a Kyndryl Bridge Enterprise Account. These accounts are:
      • Created for known customers with whom Kyndryl already has an established business relationship.
      • Established for new customers vetted and entered into Kyndryl’s Customer Master Record.
    • Personal Accounts:
Users who sign up on the Kyndryl Bridge website with personal email domains are assigned a Kyndryl Bridge Personal Account by default. They cannot access RFQ functionality until they are linked to a Kyndryl Bridge Enterprise Account.
  3. Partner responsibility
Partners are required to provide detailed information about their Service Elements and Configurations. This data forms the basis for generating accurate quotes during the RFQ process.
By leveraging RFQ functionality on Kyndryl Bridge, customers benefit from tailored service configurations and transparent pricing discussions.
