Platform Services - Notifications
Bridge in App Notification is now available:
As the first step towards making In-App notifications a converged common service, all In-App notifications from AIOps, Bridge, and Services are now grouped in one place and accessible from a single location within Bridge. This update eliminates the need to navigate to different sections within Bridge to access notifications, providing a consistent notification pattern.
There are still three separate notification systems running, and their functionality remains unchanged. This release focuses on enhancing the user experience of In-App notifications.
Container Cluster Management – Cluster Health
Enhanced cluster health assessment:
The Cluster table on the Container Cluster Management landing page now contains active links to details for clusters classified as Unhealthy. Specifically, the service presents details of the following health parameters:
Node Health
Critical Alerts
Memory Over Committed
CPU Over Committed
This enhancement enables quick, at-a-glance assessment of specific clusters, enabling preemptive action ahead of potential failures.
Tailored health parameter thresholds now supported:
Administrators can now set thresholds for supported cluster health parameters to accommodate their organization, enabling flexibility for each organization.
Discovery & Inventory - Inventory Unification
Inventory Name and navigation changes:
Kyndryl Bridge is consolidating all Inventory services to a centralized focal point, simplifying user access. To that end, the following name changes have been implemented to unify all references to Inventory services:
Common Discovery is now Discovery Management
Common Inventory is now Discovered Data
The following services are now part of the larger Bridge Discovery & Inventory services:
Infrastructure and Cloud Inventory, formerly Inventory Services
Inventory Insights
Cloud data is now available in Infrastructure and Cloud Inventory:
Cloud data is now being harvested from the Discovery service as part of Inventory unification. Users now have a centralized dashboard for all inventory data, providing a coherent view of all assets. You can now view various cloud resource categories, such as compute, database, storage, network, and Kubernetes/containers.
The following providers are supported:
Oracle OCI
IBM Cloud
Azure
Google Cloud Platform
Synchronize Discovered Tags with Tag Repository Service:
Bridge Inventory has been enhanced to align with the Tag Management system, eliminating duplicate and non-compliant tag repositories. All discovered, newly created, updated, or deleted tags are now pushed to the centralized Tag Repository, ensuring standardization and compliance across Bridge services. This includes automatic retries for failed tag pushes to maintain consistency.
Authorization added to missing APIs:
Authorization checks have been implemented for unprotected APIs in specified areas. Ensuring a high level of security, adhering to role definitions, this enhancement protects sensitive data in alignment with best practices for API security.

DevOps Intelligence
Release filter now available
: DevOps Intelligence now supports a release filter for Open Source License Compliance and Container Vulnerability. In addition to the global filter, which allows specification of Application and Duration, you can now filter for a specific release, providing even finer detail for your performance assessments.
