Tag repository now available in Common Services:
The tag management service provides a centralized solution for creating and managing validated and unvalidated tags, overseeing their entire lifecycle in a secure environment to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. As the first stage, the tag definition process sets the foundation for the tag management system.
The tag repository is a central hub that stores standard governed tags (validated) and ungoverned (un-validated) tags. It is a single source for accessing a categorized set of tags for operational, financial, and security purposes, demonstrating its versatility and importance in tag management. Key capabilities include:
- The system stores governed tag keys created through a tag definition flow, allowing tag values to be added from the tag repository.
- The repository enables direct creation of ungoverned tag key-value pairs, ensuring all tags are managed efficiently.
- It also displays whether tag values comply with defined constraints, helping maintain data integrity and ensure accuracy.

Common Services – Discovery & Inventory:
New Cloud Provider Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is now available:
Common Discovery can now extract virtual machine (VM) resource details from the OCI provider based on the account credentials and connections added to the IAM connection. OCI asset details can be accessed through the Common Inventory Service upon successful discovery.
