Users
The Users page provides a centralized view of all users in your Kyndryl Bridge account. From this page, administrators can monitor user activity, manage user access, and review the access groups assigned to individual users. Summary cards provide a quick overview of the user population and invitation status, helping administrators track account adoption and user lifecycle management.
The Users page includes the following summary cards:
- Total Users: Displays the total number of users in the account.
- Active Users: Displays the number of users with active account access.
- Pending Invites: Displays the number of users who have been invited but have not yet completed the onboarding process.
- Invite Users: Opens the invitation workflow to add new users to the account.
The Users page provides a table that display information about each user, including:
- Name: Displays the user's name.
- Access Group: Displays the name of the access group assigned to the user.
- Email: Displays the user's email address.
- Status: Indicates the user's current status, such as Active or Pending.
- Actions: Click the ellipsis menu (⋮) to view the actions available for the selected user.
Each user can be expanded to display the access groups assigned to that user. The expanded section includes the following information:
- Access Group: The name of the access group assigned to the user.
- Service: The service associated with the access group.
- Description: A brief description of the access group.
- Members Count: The total number of members assigned to the access group.
Administrators can use the Search field and Filter option to quickly locate specific users and refine the displayed results.
Prerequisites to invite users
To invite users in Kyndryl Bridge:
- You must have the Administrator role in the Kyndryl Bridge account.
- Valid email addresses (up to 10) must be available for each user.
- Access groups and any required roles should be predefined.
- Ensure understanding of which access groups apply to Kyndryl vs. Non-Kyndryl users.
Accessing the Users page
From the Kyndryl Bridge main menu , go to Administration → Bridge Access Management → Users.
Viewing a list of users
By accessing the Users page, you are presented with three different cards providing relevant information for the Account Administrator:
- The Total Users card displays the total number of users in your account.
- The Active Users card displays the total number of active users in your account. Users who have not activated their account yet (Pending Status) are omitted from this total.
- The Pending Invites card displays the total number of users who have not activated their accounts yet.
Inviting new users
Administrators can invite both Kyndryl and non-Kyndryl users to a Kyndryl Bridge account, assign them to access groups, and optionally apply access policies during the invitation process. Up to 10 users can be invited at a time, with the appropriate roles and permissions assigned upon onboarding. This capability streamlines user onboarding, supports role-based access management and helps ensure secure access through user validation and policy controls.
Access management only grants access to the Kyndryl Bridge account. If you need access to a specific service, follow the steps described in Understanding Bridge Access Management.
To invite new users to a Kyndryl Bridge account, click the Invite Users card and follow these steps:
- Add User: Select the user type (Internal Kyndryl users or external Non-Kyndryl users). Enter the email address of the invitee(s) in the box. You can add up to 10 different email accounts and validate them by pressing the "Bar" key or "Enter" key on your keyboard.
- Select Next.
- Assign to Bridge Access Group: Select the access group(s) where the invitee needs to be associated by selecting the box next to the corresponding access group. To learn more, see Access GroupsAccess Groups.
In the Assign to Service Access Group section, review the Service column to identify the service associated with each Service Access Group. This information helps ensure that users are assigned to the correct access group and receive access only to the intended service and related resources.
Optionally, select Assign to Service Access Groups for specific tools or services.
- Example: CollabDrive_Administrator, CollabDrive_Viewer
- Kyndryl-specific access groups (e.g., Kyndryl Account Manager) are only available when inviting Kyndryl users.
Access groups are created by default and cannot be customized.
