Manage applications

Explore the Manage Applications page and the available tools to personalize, oversee, and interact with your application portfolio.
This page includes graphical representations and a detailed table of applications, facilitating easy access and management.

Applications graphs

The Manage Applications page presents three graphs displaying the following information:
  • Last Edited Applications:
    A horizontal stacked bar chart that shows the last applications added or modified by the Application Portfolio Administrator, along with the level of data completeness. Click the
    Edit
    button to modify any of the applications. For more information, see ‘Details Page’.
  • Applications by Data Completeness:
    A vertical bar chart that shows the percentage of data completeness based on the number of applications onboarded to your account.
  • Applications by Business Group:
    A vertical bar chart that shows the number of applications associated with specific business groups.

Applications table

The Manage Applications page also includes a table listing all applications added to your account. Use the filter and search bar capabilities to find specific applications. The table includes the following columns:
  • Application name:
    Name of the application.
  • Description:
    Description to better identify the application’s functions and purpose.
  • Type of application:
    An "application type" refers to the category or kind of software application based on its purpose, platform, architecture, or other characteristics.
  • No. of dependencies:
    The number of dependencies or associations the application has with other applications.
  • Business Service:
    Business services are activities performed by an enterprise for another enterprise and/or the public administration.
  • No.
    of servers (Production):
    The number of servers that the application is associated with in a production environment.
  • Data completeness:
    The percentage of how much data is available for that application.

Actions column

The last column in the applications table enables performing different actions on an application, including:
  • View Application:
    Access the application’s portfolio page.
  • Edit Application:
    Update the information associated with an application. Click ' Next ' on the Edit Application page to proceed through the different sections or click ‘Save & Exit’ once you are satisfied with your changes. A review page will be presented, allowing you to verify your updates before clicking ‘Review & Submit’. For a detailed list of fields that can be updated, see the Details page.
  • Delete
    : Remove the application from the list.

Add a new application

You can quickly add a new application without uploading a file through the Onboarding account details process. This method expedites the onboarding and management of your applications. To add a new application, click the ‘Add Application’ button at the top right of the page and complete the requested information:
  • Application name (mandatory field)
  • Description
  • Application number (mandatory field)
  • Application type
  • Application group
