notifications can be displayed to users across all accounts and regions or targeted to specific audiences based on business needs priority notifications require users to acknowledge the message before continuing, helping ensure critical announcements are seen and acted upon when necessary these notifications help keep users informed about critical platform updates, service disruptions, maintenance activities and other important events, reducing confusion and minimizing unnecessary support requests administrators can create, manage and target notifications across all accounts or specific accounts to ensure important information reaches the intended audience while avoiding notification fatigue administrators can create notifications and update them as requirements change and delete them when they are no longer required key capabilities priority notifications enable administrators to communicate critical platform information to users at the tenant level the main capabilities are grouped into notification management and notification delivery with user acknowledgement notification management capabilities related to creating, configuring, targeting and maintaining priority notifications create priority notifications configure notification title, message, severity, duration and status publish notifications across all accounts or selected accounts filter and target notifications by region and account save notifications as draft the notification has been created and saved but is not yet available to users upcoming the notification has been configured and is scheduled to become visible at a future date or time active the notification is currently displayed to the targeted audience and is available for user acknowledgement edit existing notifications delete notifications when they are no longer required notifications are automatically removed after their configured expiration date to help keep communications relevant and up to date notification delivery and user acknowledgement capabilities related to how notifications are presented to users and how users interact with them display notifications across all accounts by default deliver notifications only to selected accounts when targeting is configured require users to acknowledge notifications keep unacknowledged notifications visible until acknowledged or expired maintain acknowledgement status for users across multiple accounts preserve read and unread status when users switch between accounts administrator configured notifications across tenants platform administrators can create and manage notifications that are displayed across multiple accounts and regions within a tenant these notifications help communicate important information to a broad audience, ensuring consistent visibility and awareness across the organization while allowing administrators to target specific accounts or regions when needed create priority notifications across tenants when creating priority notifications, you can choose to display the notification across all accounts and regions or target it to specific accounts and regions the notification audience is determined by the selections made in the region and accounts fields during the notification creation process this flexibility allows administrators to distribute important announcements broadly across the accounts or focus them on a specific account on business or operational requirements follow these steps to set up a notification across accounts sign in to kyndryl bridge and open the navigation menu select control tower navigate to notifications management the notifications management page opens, select priority notifications tab click + create priority notifications enter the following required information notification title enter the title of the notification the title can contain up to 250 characters message content enter a clear and detailed message describing the information, announcement or event that users must acknowledge maximum 1000 characters severity select the notification severity level critical indicates urgent information that requires immediate attention warning highlights information that users should be aware of info provides general informational updates start date specifies when the notification becomes active and visible to users end date specifies when the notification expires notifications can remain active for a maximum of 365 days account selection (optional) select this option to display priority notifications to a specific set of accounts instead of all accounts by default , notifications are displayed across all accounts ; however, when account targeting is enabled, you must select more than one account filter by region select one or more regions to narrow the list of available accounts and simplify account selection when configuring the notification of the audience only accounts associated with the selected regions are displayed available region filters eu shared = "eu" ca shared = "ca" us shared = "us" ap shared = "au" japan shared = "jp" india shared = "in" eu restricted = "eu r" us restricted = "us r" to display the notification to all accounts across all regions, leave the region selection set to all regions when individual regions are selected, the all regions option is automatically cleared the selecting an account the account list is automatically filtered to show only accounts that belong to the selected regions to display the notification across all accounts, leave the account selection across tenants a platform administrator can update the accounts and regions associated with an existing priority notifications by accessing bridge operations tenant (control tower) this process allows administrators to modify the notification audience and save the changes to update the notification configuration follow these steps to edit an existing notification from the notifications management page opens, select priority notifications tab locate the notification you want to edit in the priority notifications table select the ellipsis menu (⋯) for the notification and select edit update the required notification settings select update to save your changes after the notification is successfully updated, a confirmation message is displayed and the priority notifications table is refreshed to reflect the updated notification details considerations for editing a priori ty notifications when editing a notification, all existing notification settings are pre populated with the current values existing region and account selections remain available and can be modified as needed the selected audience can be expanded by adding additional regions or accounts status changes take effect according to the selected notification configuration if the notification audience is configured for specific accounts, more than one account must remain selected otherwise, an error message is displayed notifications continue to follow their configured duration and are automatically removed after their expiration date delete priority notifications across tenants platform administrators can delete a priority notifications that is no longer needed deleting a notification removes it from the priority notifications table and prevents it from being displayed to users across all associated accounts and regions because this action cannot be undone, review the notification details carefully before confirming the deletion follow these steps to delete a notification from the notifications management page opens, select priority notifications tab locate the notification you want to edit in the priority notifications table select the ellipsis menu (⋯) for the notification and select delete a confirmation message is displayed to prevent accidental deletion, review the notification details carefully before proceeding select yes, delete it! to permanently remove the notification or no, keep it to cancel the deletion and return to the priority notifications table after the notification is successfully deleted, a confirmation message is displayed and the priority notifications table is refreshed to reflect the updated notification details deleting a priority notifications is irreversible view priority notifications across tenants when a priority notification is configured to display at sign in, a pop up notification appears in the upper right corner of the page after the user signs in to kyndryl bridge select read now to open the notification side panel, and then select view all priority notifications to access the priority notifications details page notification details page from this page, users can view and filter priority notifications, helping them stay configured users see the same notification in every account that is part of the selected audience notifications maintain a single acknowledgment state for each user across all included accounts once a
