After the cut-off process is complete, review access assignments and begin building new automation natively in Bridge Automation Service (BAS).

## Assign authorization for CACF workloads

If workflows use the Cloud Automation Community Framework (CACF), ensure that catalog activation and user authorization follow the CACF governance model.

CACF requirements:

To ensure secure access and governance of CACF-based catalog items, the following requirements must be met before catalog items can be activated, managed, or executed.

- Catalog activation should be performed by an authorized persona, such as a Delivery Program Executive (DPE).
- Users must be granted the appropriate roles before they can activate or manage catalog items.
- The DPE must approve any tenant user who requires permission to run CACF-based catalog items.

Catalog activation is supported by the following Bridge roles:

- Platform Administrator
- Platform Editor
- Catalog Administrator
- Catalog Editor
- Any future roles that provide equivalent catalog management permissions
- Assign the appropriate role based on the user's responsibilities and level of access

* The DPE must approve any tenant user who is authorized to execute CACF-based catalog items.
* Existing content and user authorizations that were migrated from the tenant are considered approved by the DPE unless otherwise reviewed.

## Build new automation in Bridge Automation

After migrated automation assets have been validated, new automation can be created directly in BAS.

Bridge Automation provides a low-code authoring experience that enables users to:

- Design and manage workflows
- Configure workflow execution parameters
- Publish reusable catalog items
- Test and validate automation before publication
- Manage automation lifecycle activities
