DSRR Approval Management
dsrr approval management provides a centralized way to maintain application approver information used in dsrr release and governance workflows replacing the spreadsheet based process, it allows authorized users to manage approver records through bulk imports and individual updates the capability supports notification of workflows and governance oversight by maintaining a controlled, auditable list of approvers for each application role based access controls ensure that only authorized users can make changes approver information is automatically synchronized with dsrr workflows to help ensure accurate routing of approvals and consistent governance processes dsrr approver management access the dsrr approver management feature is controlled by a feature flag and must be enabled before it becomes available from the main menu , go to services → platform services → toolchain & pipeline → devops intelligence from the left navigation menu, select settings & utilities select dsrr approver status, identify applications that require additional approver information and maintain governance records used by dsrr workflows the page displays three summary cards that provide a high level overview of dsrr approver governance coverage across applications total applications displays the total number of applications being managed governance complete shows the number of applications with complete owner and approver information applications missing owners identifies applications that require owner assignments or governance updates dsrr governance table the dsrr governance table provides detailed information about application approver governance records application name name of the application governance status governance status (for example, complete) created by user who maintenance or reporting purposes data can be exported in the following formats csv ( csv) json ( json) xls ( xls) import data import approver information in bulk this action is available only to users with appropriate permissions (for example, release managers) import prerequisites and validation requirements applications must be onboarded to devops intelligence before they can be imported until applications are onboarded and displayed on the dsrr approver management page, the import and export options may not be available in such cases, the bulk import template is provided directly to designated release managers for initial data loading during import, devops intelligence (di) validates the application name specified in the import file against the applications that have already been onboarded to di an application record is imported successfully only if the application is already onboarded to di if the application is not onboarded, the import for that specific record fails as a prerequisite, applications must be onboarded to di before their records can be imported in the import file, application name is a mandatory field all other fields are optional if an import fails due to data issues in the import file, an error message is displayed at the top of the page users can download the error log to review the specific issues causing the failure and take the necessary
