Learn how to configure DevOps Intelligence to retrieve data generated by AWS CodeDeploy, extending the single pane of glass DevOps Intelligence affords in your hybrid IT estate.

Setting up and configuring an AWS connection is crucial to empowering DevOps Intelligence to retrieve data from AWS CodeDeploy. This essential step bridges the two platforms, granting DevOps Intelligence the capability to access and utilize the information stored within AWS CodeDeploy for subsequent analysis and operational enhancements.

**Access rights**: The connection must have the following access roles:

- **Create**
- **Delete**
- **Update**
- **View**

To access templates, you must have specific roles; please see: [User and role management](docId\:vy_2iguh1sL9qJU_qE6t_)

To establish the configuration, you must choose an Application Name, Deployment Group Name, and Additional Configurations for personalized settings. DevOps Intelligence dashboards use specific terminology to indicate status: **Passed**, **Failed** and **In Progress**. However, you have the flexibility to introduce your own terms for these statuses. For instance, any term you input under the **Passed** category will be displayed as **Passed** on the dashboard.
