kyndryl bridge provides a centralized notification service that allows users to view notifications from multiple applications in one place notifications can be accessed via the notification bell icon, priority alerts for high importance messages or the notifications page, where all notifications and their details are displayed in two tabs separated service notifications and priority notifications notifications are retained in the system for up to 365 days notification bell icon the notification bell icon, located in the top right corner of the application, serves as the primary entry point for viewing notifications, with a red indicator signaling when unread notifications are available when you select the bell icon, a flyout panel opens and displays a list of recent notifications, allowing you to quickly review and access updates each notification includes a title, description, and severity indicator a maximum of five notifications is displayed in the flyout panel follow these steps to view notifications from the bell icon go to kyndryl bridge console on the top right corner, click the notification bell icon a notification flyout panel is displayed, where you can view recent notifications from any application each notification shows a title, a brief description, the source application, the severity level, and the time the notification was sent select settings to configure how notifications are displayed by choosing how notifications are sorted (for example, by most recent), select a read mode and the number of notifications to be displayed after you configure all settings, select apply to save your changes mark all as read allows you to mark all notifications as read if needed click the filter (funnel) icon to filter notifications by type (for example, critical, warning, or info) select see all service notifications in the bell icon to navigate to the notifications details page, where you can review all available notifications notifications details page the notifications details page provides a centralized view of all notifications generated across services on the notifications details page, users can review and filter service and priority notifications in a structured table view use the search field to quickly locate specific notifications refine results using filters such as severity, notification type and other available criteria mark all notifications as read with a single action access notification management to configure notification settings note manage notifications button is available only to users with administrator role permission the notifications details page can also be accessed by following these steps from the bridge console home page, use the left navigation menu and select notifications (the bell menu option) the notifications main page will be displayed there are two main notification tabs on the main notifications details page service based notifications priority notifications viewing service based notifications the main notifications page includes a service based notifications tab this tab displays notifications generated by different services across the platform, allowing users to review all service based updates in one place follow these steps to access service based notifications from the main notifications page, select the service based notifications tab find the notification you want to review and select view source to view additional details from here, you can select view details to open additional information about the notification select mark as read to mark the notification as reviewed select source to review the source of the notification the following columns are displayed in the service notifications table severity indicates the type of notification, such as info, warning, critical or success title displays the name or summary of the notification description provides additional details about the notification app/service identifies the application or service that generates the notification type specifies the category of the notification date shows when the notification was generated actions provides options to interact with the notification, such as viewing more details or accessing the source the table supports pagination, allowing users to efficiently navigate through large volumes of notifications viewing priority notifications when you log in to any kyndryl application for the first time, a priority notification pop up appears in the top right corner of the screen priority notifications display only high priority items that require immediate attention and typically highlight critical updates or time sensitive information that may impact users or services for example, scheduled maintenance the prod environment will be unavailable from 02 00–04 00 utc on july 15 due to scheduled maintenance follow these steps to view priority notifications when you log in to a kyndryl application for the first time, a priority notification pop up appears in the top right corner of the screen select read now to open the notification details in a side panel or dismiss the alert if no immediate action is required the panel displays complete notification details, where you can review the information and select yes, i read to mark it as read, if needed priority notifications pop up in the following scenarios when users log in to bridge when users switch between applications within the same account (for example, from service a to service b) in both cases, all unacknowledged priority notifications are automatically displayed to ensure users are aware of important updates requiring attention select view all priority notifications to go to the notifications details page the main notifications page includes a priority notifications tab, which displays high priority notifications that require attention and highlights important or time sensitive updates the following columns are displayed in the priority notifications table severity indicates the importance level of the notification, such as notice, warning, or critical service identifies the application or service that generates the notification notification displays the title or name of the notification, summarizing the event or update description provides additional details about the notification, including context or actions required start date shows when the notification or event begins end date indicates when the notification or event is expected to end, if applicable the table supports pagination, allowing users to efficiently navigate through large volumes of notifications from here, you can select view details to open additional information about the notification select mark as read to mark the notification as reviewed select source to review the source of the notification
